Mick Willemsen

Freelance interactive media designer and media artist

I am an interactive media designer and media artist whose work explores generative systems, interactive environments and realtime visual processes. Through these systems I investigate how visuals and experiences can emerge from human interaction and machine behaviour. I am often inspired by architecture, cultural references and digital aesthetics, and enjoy creating immersive worlds and ever evolving visual environments.

Alongside my artistic practice, I also work as a freelance interactive media designer, developing interactive installations, generative visuals and digital experiences such as (serious) games and virtual reality projects. I'm always open to collaborate with artists, musicians and organisations to translate ideas, stories and performances into visual or interactive environments that explore the intersection of technology, design and experience.
